Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will focus on three core missions:
- Guide Users: Help prospects navigate their Grafana journey by engaging with them and providing appropriate resources.
- Drive Business: Partner with the Sales Team to identify new business opportunities and build the company's revenue pipeline.
- Develop Skills: Cultivate valuable, transferable skills to advance your career goals.
In this role, you will balance reactive and proactive work, responding to inbound inquiries while conducting outreach to target accounts. We are looking for individuals with a detective mindset who can craft thoughtful messaging and drive confident business conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain knowledge of our technology, competitors, the open-source ecosystem, and industry trends.
- Effectively and efficiently follow up on inbound leads.
- Utilize a multi-channel approach (email, social, calling) for proactive outreach.
- Manage leads and accounts using Salesforce and Grafana dashboards.
- Use data-driven research to prioritize and customize outreach.
- Conduct effective discovery conversations to understand user needs.
- Consistently meet pipeline and new business opportunity targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales.
