Job description

We're so happy you're here! Thank you for checking our job out and we hope to have the chance to meet you in our interview process!

About The Role

Grüns is growing fast and we need people who think clearly, move quickly, and help us stay ahead of the curve as we scale. This is a role for someone who wants to be in the room where it happens --- not just supporting the work, but driving it. As a Strategy & Analytics Associate, you'll be the analytical engine behind some of our biggest growth bets --- embedded inside the business, not above it. You'll own problems end-to-end, from framing the question to driving the answer into action. This role reports directly to our Director of BizOps and sits at the center of how Grüns makes decisions.

Remote HQ

This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a biannual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Identify high-impact business challenges and opportunities, structure them as problems worth solving, and drive analysis that leads to a clear recommendation --- not just a report.
  • Build and own financial models that forecast the impact of new strategies, pricing decisions, and growth initiatives, and hold yourself accountable to measuring actual performance against those forecasts.
  • Partner directly with senior leaders across retail, DTC, marketing, and operations to answer their hardest questions --- and proactively surface the questions they haven't thought to ask yet.
  • Design and run tests: develop hypotheses, build the analytical framework, execute, and translate results into decisions the business can act on.
  • Own ad hoc analysis and KPI reporting for key stakeholders --- building infrastructure that becomes a lasting resource, not a one-time deliverable.
  • Support new product and pricing strategy with modeling and market analysis.
  • Evaluate new growth channels and optimize existing ones across our DTC and retail business.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

  • BS/MS Degree in a quantitative or computational field.
  • 4 years experience in data analytics in corporate, consulting, or investment banking.
  • Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, able to influence your partners using clear, concise insights and recommendations through strong data-driven analyses.
  • High proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
  • Expertise with SQL, with R and/or Python knowledge preferred.
  • Exceptional thought partnership skills, able to own direct relationships with stakeholders and build credibility through clarity and judgment.
  • Strong statistical skills and intuition for solving problems in both consumer-facing and internal product areas.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing (Google Cloud) platforms preferred.

Approach to the Role

  • You don't wait to be handed a problem --- you go find it, frame it, and bring back a recommendation.
  • You move between deep analytical work and senior stakeholder conversations without missing a beat.
  • You thrive in ambiguity and resource-light environments --- "we don't have a process for that yet" sounds like opportunity, not friction.
  • You hold yourself to a high standard of intellectual honesty --- you'd rather deliver an uncomfortable truth than a comfortable slide.
  • You move fast without cutting corners on rigor, and you understand that speed and quality aren't opposites.
  • You're energized by working on a product you believe in and a team that holds itself to a high bar.

To Apply

Please enter your info and share a bit about yourself with us below. We ask that you do not use Chat GPT or similar tools to answer these questions, as it is our hope to genuinely get to know you and the way you communicate and think! We do love integrating these tools into our work though, and you'll hear plenty more about that if you join us.

Compensation & Benefits

At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package --- grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is $120,000-$135,000 depending on experience, paired with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and growth of our team.

A bit about us...

At Grüns, we believe that foundational nutrition should be simple and convenient for everyone. We're dedicated to bringing comprehensive and real nutrition to you through our gummies, formulated from 60 nutrient-dense and whole-food ingredients. Simply enjoy a grab-and-go snack pack of gummies daily whenever fits best in your schedule and wherever life takes you.

What we care about...

  • Be the Best: We hold ourselves, our teams, and our partners to an incredibly high standard - and we raise the bar constantly. "We've never done this before" isn't an excuse here. It's an invitation.
  • Own It: We act like our name is on the door. That means taking complete ownership of outcomes, collaborating deeply, working through roadblocks - not around them - and never waiting for someone else to solve the problem. Great owners are great partners.
  • Drive Impact, Urgently: We measure impact, not effort. We work smart and hard, move fast, and use every tool at our disposal - including AI - to focus our energy where it matters most.
