Performance Tester

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Performance Tester/Architect with 7 to 10+ years of experience and strong client-facing skills. You will lead performance engineering initiatives to ensure applications meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to technology teams and projects under test.
• Establish and manage performance engineering processes.
• Mentor and lead Performance Engineers to achieve greater accomplishments.
• Characterize system performance results and report findings to stakeholders, functional groups, and clients.
• Collaborate independently with development, engineering, and architecture teams.

Technical Requirements

• Primary Tools: JMeter, K6, Artillery.
• Secondary Tools: Dynatrace, New Relic.
• Core Competencies:
  • Performance diagnostics, capacity planning, and architecture design.
  • Expertise in tuning complex architectural applications.
  • Strong knowledge of web, web services, messaging layers, data layers, and mobile devices.
  • Experience with cloud application performance testing and Chaos testing.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and developing utilities/accelerators.
  • Experience in developing and utilizing open-source distributed performance testing frameworks.
  • Expert ability to analyze/interpret performance metrics from application, database, OS, and network layers.
  • Strong background in complex, transaction-intensive web-based systems (Java, Big Data, SOA).
