About the Position
As a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist, you will ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of Hard Rock Digital's platform and applications. This role is crucial for validating system changes, safeguarding customer experience, and mitigating operational and regulatory risks.
Your primary focus will be on Salesforce, requiring hands-on experience with its environments, customizations, and integrations. You will collaborate with developers, product teams, business system owners, and analysts to ensure that all enhancements, configurations, and integrations meet defined quality standards prior to release.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze business requirements and functional specifications to create detailed, well-structured test cases.
- Execute manual and automated testing across various Salesforce environments (Lightning, Classic) and integrated third-party applications.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, UAT, and performance testing for Salesforce customizations, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Validate third-party system integrations for end-to-end functionality, data integrity, compliance, and performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using Jira, managing test cases, execution, and reporting via Jira Xray.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, provide feedback, and suggest quality improvements.
- Validate data accuracy across Salesforce objects, reports, dashboards, and system integrations.
- Ensure adequate test coverage and proactively identify quality and risk gaps in Salesforce functionality.
- Assist in building, maintaining, and expanding automated test coverage using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Salesforce-specific frameworks (e.g., Provar, Copado).
- Support the integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, execution results, and release sign-off artifacts.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and QA best practices to enhance testing effectiveness.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, testing, or system implementation on enterprise platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience testing Salesforce environments, including customizations and integrations.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Expertise with Jira and Jira Xray for test management, execution tracking, and reporting.
- Experience working within Agile development frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing systems in highly regulated industries or customer-facing platforms.
- Familiarity with Python-based or modern automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright).
- Experience validating data flows and integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.
- Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
Certifications
- Salesforce certification is preferred (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Developer, or QA-related certifications).
