Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an early career Environmental Health Safety / IH Specialist located in the San Francisco Bay Area. When not engaged at client sites, the Specialist will work from their home office. The successful candidate must be able to travel to client sites throughout the Bay Area.
The specialist, under the guidance of a Sr. EHS Consultant, will be responsible for:
- Implementing and overseeing health and safety compliance
- Providing safety training
- Developing environmental health and safety programs
- Conducting exposure monitoring and environmental sampling
- Tabulating data
- Providing consultation services to a variety of private sector clients
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of professional occupational health, industrial hygiene and/or safety experience
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related scientific or engineering field
- Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Holds or is on a path to obtain professional certifications in occupational safety (CSP) or industrial hygiene (CIH)
