Appointment Scheduler Call Center Agent

Full Time and Part Time Roles Available

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday only. Shifts vary between 8:00 AM CST - 7:00 PM CST.

Location Requirement: This Work from Home position requires that you live within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital. HCA Healthcare hospitals are located in: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA.

Job Summary

The Physician Services Office Scheduler is responsible for managing incoming phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance, and routing calls to the appropriate department or physician office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls professionally and promptly.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Select accurate insurance carrier plans and inform patients of out-of-network carriers.
• Provide Good Faith Estimates upon request.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be on the phone approximately 95% of the workday.

Preferred:

• One year of related experience.
• Experience with EClinical Works preferred.
• Experience scheduling for physician offices highly preferred.
• Meditech or Cerner experience is a plus.
