Location Requirement: This position requires you to reside in Nashville, TN. This position will be a hybrid working schedule with some in-office required.

Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Financial Analyst you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing financial research protocols including reports applicable for use by Parallon. You will assist the Finance Team with general accounting processes and controls including month end close, account reconciliations of accounts, financial ad hoc analysis, and preparation of journal entries, and stat reporting. You will also interpret, design, and develop analyses to solve complex operational, financial and/or accounting problems.
What will you do in this role:
- Preparation of journal entries, check requests, and stats reports.
- General accounting responsibilities including: Month end activities, Budgeting, Forecast, Etc.
- Strong technical skills and experience in financial analytics including knowledge of Business Objects, Essbase, and relational databases.
- Strong attention to detail in order to ensure the accuracy of the data being reported on.
- Understands business operations; including healthcare company operations and accounting, and technologies.
- Takes ownership of the data process and develops, maintains, and automates tools and systems to support monitoring, trending and follow-up activities.
- Supports retrieving and organizing data requests across business lines; researches to identify and explain results and trends.
- Identifies, develops and monitors performance indicators to identify areas of opportunities and best practice.
- Stays abreast of regulatory requirements, emerging industry trends and company policies.
- Keeps leadership informed of the status of work efforts.
- Communicates results of analysis to various levels of the organization including Executive Leadership.
- Maintains confidentiality with all information.
What you will need in this role:
- Bachelor's Degree required; accounting, finance or related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 - 4 years of accounting and/or Financial Analyst experience required.
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- CPA license preferred but not required.
