About Hello Dancer Photography
Hello Dancer Photography is hiring experienced High-volume Lightroom editors needed for live action dance events.
Edit thousands of images per event using fast batch workflows.
$30/hour | Remote | Consistent work available.
This is a fast-paced, production-style editing role. We are not looking for traditional "per-image" editors or heavy retouchers. We're looking for editors who can move quickly, think in batches, and deliver clean, consistent work at scale.
What You'll Be Doing
- Culling, color correcting, and cropping thousands of images per event
- Editing live action stage photography (dance competitions)
- Working in Lightroom Classic only
- Editing from shared catalogs using previews (not RAW files) for speed
- Using batch editing and syncing workflows (not editing image-by-image)
- Delivering consistent skin tones, exposure, and clean crops across entire sets
What We're Looking For
- Advanced proficiency in Lightroom Classic
- Strong experience with batch editing and high-volume workflows
- Proven experience editing people (portraits, weddings, sports, or events)
- Ability to maintain consistent skin tones and color across large sets
- Fast and confident culling ability
- Comfortable working at speed while maintaining quality
- Available 35+ hours per week
- Based in the United States
Technical Requirements
- Fast computer capable of handling large catalogs (Mac or PC)
- 32GB RAM recommended (16GB minimum with strong performance)
- Fast, reliable internet
- Large monitor for efficient editing (dual monitor setup is a plus)
- Ability to work from external drives when needed (we can provide drives)
What This Job Is NOT
- Not detailed retouching
- Not Photoshop work
- Not slow, per-image editing
- Not stylized or artistic editing
This is a speed + consistency role.
Compensation
- $30/hour
- Consistent work available during peak season January-May
