Software Quality Analyst (contract)

Job Summary

At Hilton, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accessibility of web, mobile, and team member platforms. You will be responsible for verifying that web and mobile applications meet ADA compliance standards and industry best practices, ensuring equal access and opportunity for people with diverse abilities. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies across all phases of the product life cycle, while leveraging modern AI-assisted tools and techniques to drive efficiency, improve code quality, and advance Hilton's AI-enhanced engineering pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Design and write web and mobile web manual scripts that run tests on new and/or existing software and applications
• Manually test web applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets requirements
• Create, maintain, execute, and update the product testing strategy, including running manual tests and advising on the automation framework
• Test products in all phases of the product life cycle
• Understand and execute automation test strategies
• Collaborate with engineers to achieve expected quality levels in products
• Influence the inclusion of testability during design and development phases
• Conduct Accessibility (A11Y) testing across cross-functional channels
• Ensure compliance with quality processes and standards, including reporting
• Leverage modern AI-assisted tools to accelerate test creation, improve code quality, and enhance efficiency across the software development life cycle
• Apply AI-enabled quality engineering techniques to support debugging, test case generation, and risk analysis, helping advance Hilton's AI-enhanced engineering pipeline

• Proven ability to identify bugs and quality issues
• Ability to collaborate with other business units to understand how automation can improve workflow
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and expand skills
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Experience testing applications with A11Y tools such as AXE and JAWS
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of software testing experience
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and techniques preferred

Pay Rate Range

40 - 45 USD hourly
