Operating as a lean, collaborative team of developers, they build critical invoices-to-cash software solutions that businesses rely on daily to maximize profitability. They foster a tight-knit corporate culture that balances shipping proud, high-impact code with a vibrant environment featuring regular team events and online activities.
Job Overview
Our Client is seeking an experienced, problem-solving Senior Backend Integrations Developer to design, build, and maintain robust pipelines between their platform and complex legal financial management systems. This is deep backend architecture work involving sophisticated database management, ETL pipelines, and API construction. This is not a maintenance role; the successful candidate will regularly reverse-engineer third-party systems with minimal specifications and build integrations from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Architecture & Reverse Engineering
- Designs, develops, and deploys high-performance integrations between the core SaaS platform and external legal financial management systems.
- Reverse-engineers third-party financial databases and legacy systems to decipher data structures, workflows, and closed APIs.
- Collaborates directly with clients, external consultants, and internal product stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Produces clean, efficient, and exceptionally stable code based on minimal documentation and independent discovery.
Data Engineering & Pipeline Management
- Builds and maintains scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data pipelines to securely move financial assets across systems.
- Implements database optimization techniques, including schema analysis, query tuning, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Change Tracking.
- Utilizes and optimizes REST APIs for seamless cloud data ingestion.
- Authors and maintains comprehensive technical documentation covering core data models, custom integrations, and systemic processes.
- Champions strict testing discipline by writing comprehensive unit tests to ensure high deployment reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience focused heavily on backend architectures and data systems.
- The Stack: Strong, expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Database Mastery: Advanced mastery of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, and complex query construction.
- Data Engineering: Hands-on experience developing end-to-end ETL applications and managing data pipelines.
- Cloud & DevOps Infrastructure: Working familiarity with containerized services (Docker), GitHub source control, and cloud environments (Microsoft Azure).
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, engineer solutions with incomplete information, and work autonomously.
- Language: Professional written and verbal English communication skills, capable of technical consulting with US stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior development experience within the legal tech, fintech, or corporate accounting sectors.
- Direct experience building connections into legal financial management ERPs such as Aderant, Thomson Reuters Elite 3E, or similar platforms.
- Advanced experience designing and scaling custom REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) in a DevOps framework.
- Polyglot programming capabilities (experience with other backend languages alongside C#).
Benefits
- 100% Remote Infrastructure: Work fully remote from anywhere in Latin America with professional autonomy.
- Flexible Hours: Autonomy over daily start and end times, provided core US meeting availability is maintained.
- Greenfield Projects: Direct opportunities to build brand-new data products and integrations from scratch.
- Corporate Culture: Join a collaborative tech team that heavily emphasizes job satisfaction, mutual support, and virtual team activities.
- Professional Growth: Exposure to complex fintech data architecture in a high-growth US SaaS vertical.
