About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Assortment Planner to support a high-performing Global Demand Planning team. This role will focus on developing assortment strategies, demand forecasts, inventory plans, and financial projections that drive profitable growth and consumer-focused product decisions.

Location and Duration

  • Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid -- Onsite Monday--Thursday, WFH Fridays)
  • Duration: 9-Month Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop seasonal assortment plans and monthly forecasts at style and color level.
  • Create demand, inventory, sales, and margin forecasts using analytical and statistical methodologies.
  • Build bottom-up assortment plans aligned with financial and inventory objectives.
  • Analyze business trends, forecast variances, and performance drivers.
  • Present recommendations, risks, opportunities, and planning strategies to leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Finance, Supply Planning, Marketplace Planning, and Product teams.
  • Support in-season business optimization through data analysis and actionable insights.
  • Drive consumer-focused assortment and inventory strategies that maximize profitability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3--5 years of experience in Assortment Planning, Merchandise Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, product planning, and inventory management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail, apparel, footwear, consumer products, or sporting goods industry experience.
  • Knowledge of statistical forecasting methodologies.
  • Experience utilizing advanced analytics or data science-driven planning approaches.
