Description:
This is a senior frontend position within the Ads Organization. Ads is the fuel that powers company's mission. For the Ad Creative Management team our goal is to uplevel and expand the core functionality related to creating and editing ad creatives seen across company's platform. It is important that our advertisers are able to efficiently and effectively create, adjust, share, and measure their campaigns in the most intuitive way possible.
Our team not only builds new products on Ads but we also support other teams building their products on top of our platform. We expect our engineers to take ownership and have pride in the work and support we provide.
Responsibilities:
- The Ads platform
- Dive deep into the ads platform, be hands on with Ad Creative Management, Campaign Management, Ads Design System, and the Ads UI
- Building a UI that advertisers will use to manage campaigns
- Delivering a user experience that's intuitive for our advertisers as they navigate how to build ads efficiently
- Have a voice in how the future of ads evolves
Technologies used on the team include:
- Languages: Typescript, Python, Go
- Frameworks: React, React Query, Thrift, Kafka
- Datastores: Postgres, Cassandra, Druid, Redis, BigQuery
- Tools: Storybook, Playwright
Engineers at this level must be able to take ambiguous problems, design a solution and independently be able to deliver it without much help. Their core capabilities are to do a lot of coding, code reviews and documenting their work.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer
- 3+ years in Frontend engineering.
- Able to take complete ownership of a feature or project.
- Preferred: Experience in building intuitive UIs, design systems, storybook, e2e testing
