Accounting Manager - Remote (U.S.)
A national law firm is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This is a fully remote role with a focus on financial reporting, general ledger oversight, and supporting firm leadership with timely and accurate data. You will manage a small team of accountants and work closely with senior stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the firm's financial management, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reconciliation processes
- Prepare and distribute financial metrics packages and flash reports for executive leadership
- Manage budget and forecast preparation on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Lead and develop a small team of staff and senior accountants
- Analyze expense and capital variances and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
- Maintain cash flow and expense projections
- Assist with equity reconciliation and fixed asset management
- Review and post journal entries from the accounting team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 8+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts, financial reporting standards, and best practices
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office
- Experience with Sage software is a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
