Job Summary
Honeywell is seeking a Government Contracts Compliance Analyst to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies in government contracts. This role involves analyzing contract requirements, monitoring compliance, and supporting audits to mitigate risks. The position is hybrid and based in Charlotte, NC or Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily compliance support for government contracts, including DPAS and NDAA Section 889 compliance.
- Track regulatory changes, summarize them, and provide implementation guidance.
- Maintain and update internal FAR/DFARS clause guidance, including deviations.
- Advise on clause applicability and negotiation for FAR Part 12 / FFP contracting.
- Support domestic preference compliance reviews and certifications (BAA, TAA, BABA), including waiver requests.
- Monitor and assess supply chain restrictions and government actions, coordinate screening, and manage supplier certifications.
- Maintain and support government registrations and identifiers (e.g., SAM.gov, CAGE code).
- Develop and deliver training on government contracts compliance.
- Coordinate and support compliance assessments, audits, and reviews, analyzing results and supporting corrective actions.

You Must Have
- Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, contracts, legal operations, supply chain, or risk management within a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of U.S. Government contracting concepts and compliance (e.g., FAR/DFARS, representations and certifications, domestic preferences, supply chain restrictions).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate requirements into practical guidance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder requests effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with business systems and productivity tools (e.g., SharePoint/Teams, workflow tools, dashboards).
- Experience with regulatory research, issue spotting, and distinguishing between current and proposed rules.
- Sound judgment for escalating legal-risk issues to counsel.
We Value
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, public policy, supply chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Direct experience supporting USG contracts compliance in-house, consulting, or government contracting.
- Experience with domestic preference reviews and certifications (BAA/TAA/BABA) and waiver processes.
- Experience supporting DPAS, NDAA 889/FASCSA, and SAM.gov/CAGE maintenance.
- Experience supporting internal audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
- Data-driven reporting (KPIs/KRIs) and a continuous improvement mindset.
