Sr. Business Continuity Professional

Honeywell is seeking a Sr. Business Continuity Professional to implement minimum requirements for global Corporate Functions, focusing on Business Continuity (BC), Technology Resilience (TR), and Supplier Resilience. This role is crucial for optimizing and maintaining the Business Continuity program to ensure robust resilience strategies across the organization.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC, with a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Crisis Management Support: Maintain the crisis management program and procedures, monitor program key risk indicators, and partner with stakeholders to drive mitigation strategies.
  • Business Continuity Planning: Support the ongoing management of the business continuity program to ensure the organization can recover critical operations during disruptions.
  • Technology Resilience: Collaborate with IT teams to develop and refine technology resilience strategies for systems and applications.
  • Testing Scenarios Development: Create and facilitate testing scenarios to assess and improve the organization's resilience capabilities.
  • Training Program Maturation: Work with training teams to enhance existing programs, equipping staff to handle crises and maintain continuity.
  • Enhancement Tools: Partner with stakeholders to improve resilience program tools and technologies, such as the Fusion platform.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with business units to foster a culture of resilience and accountability.

You Must Have

  • 3+ years of experience managing Resilience programs for complex organizations.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated leadership in implementing business continuity, crisis management, technology resilience, and/or supplier resilience.
  • Understanding of Fusion or other resilience software.
  • Experience in complex, global, cross-functional initiatives and leading strategic decisions during regional events for crisis response and business recovery.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, using data to drive decisions and develop Resilience program maturity.
  • Broad understanding of risk-based initiatives and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.

We Value

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Professional certification (DRII, BCI) in business continuity, disaster recovery, and/or crisis management.
  • Experience driving business continuity implementation with business functions.
  • Excellent project management and data analytics skills, with experience using data to drive decisions and develop resiliency program maturity.
  • Ability to partner with Corporate colleagues and the Resilience Team on global, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Ability to communicate resiliency initiatives in a business-focused and digestible manner.
  • Results-driven with high accountability, ownership, and attention to detail.
