Role Description

This part-time remote Research Analyst role at Hospital de Clínicas do Ingá focuses on supporting data-driven decision-making across clinical and administrative areas. The Research Analyst will collect, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from internal records, surveys, market reports, and other relevant sources.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing clear dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and trends to stakeholders.
  • Designing and conducting research studies.
  • Supporting market and competitive analyses.
  • Helping evaluate the impact of new initiatives or programs.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to define research questions, ensure data quality, and recommend actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets to generate meaningful insights.
  • Experience with research methods and practical research execution, including data collection, documentation, and synthesis.
  • Knowledge of statistics, including basic statistical tests, data modeling concepts, and use of statistical tools or software.
  • Background in market research, including analyzing healthcare or services markets, competitors, and trends.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to present technical findings in a clear, accessible manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or related discipline); advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; familiarity with R, Python, SPSS, or similar tools is an advantage).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote, part-time setting.
  • Experience in healthcare, hospital operations, or clinical research is preferred but not required.
