About HowGood

HowGood is a mission-driven, product-led organization scaling our B2B SaaS platform, Latis. We work with the largest enterprises across the food system to measure and reduce their carbon footprint, generating millions of PCFs each month. For 20 years, we have worked to transform the food system by enabling brands, suppliers, and retailers to see the impact of their products with radical transparency and illuminate actionable paths toward a more regenerative food system.

The Role

The Chief Product Officer is seeking an experienced Growth PM to lead a small dedicated growth pod, including a full-stack engineer and a growth marketer. This pod is focused on a single mandate: maximize the volume and velocity of users moving through the funnel. You will operate alongside our core product team, who focus on the depth and durability of the platform. Where they build to last, you will build to learn: running rapid experiments, shipping quickly, and letting the data tell you what is working.

This is a generalist role for someone comfortable thinking about acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention. It is a role with an unusually tight feedback loop: a small team, clear metrics, and the permission to move fast.

A small team moving at this pace requires real fluency with AI tools. We expect you to be actively using and experimenting with AI in your day-to-day work, while maintaining judgment about where AI does and does not belong in B2B enterprise SaaS.

Responsibilities

  • Own product management of funnel volume and velocity end-to-end: define the metrics that matter, instrument them, and move the numbers.
  • Run a relentless experimentation cadence: hypotheses, tests, qualitative research, shipped iterations, and repeat.
  • Make sharp prioritization calls about which experiments to run, keep, or kill.
  • Partner across the organization to turn usage signals into product improvements.
  • Coordinate with the core product team to ensure growth and platform work reinforce one another.
  • Identify opportunities from usage data, customer conversations, and the broader sustainability landscape.
  • Foster a pod culture of experimentation, speed, and intellectual honesty.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS, with meaningful time spent on growth, lifecycle, or full-funnel work.
  • Demonstrated ownership of product metrics; you can walk us through a funnel you moved and how you did it.
  • A track record of shipping experiments quickly and reading results honestly.
  • Strong analytical capabilities: comfortable in SQL, experimentation frameworks, and pushing back on flawed analysis.
  • Experience with technical or data-heavy products.
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-team collaboration with engineering, sales, CS, and leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, empathy, and listening skills.
  • Background in sustainability, supply chain, food systems, or climate tech is a plus.

Why Work at HowGood?

  • Competitive compensation packages, health benefits, 401k, and generous leave policies.
  • Remote-first with offices available in Upstate New York (Stone Ridge) and Brooklyn.
  • Flexible, relaxed, but fast-moving environment.

HowGood has the world's largest sustainability database. We help people understand the impact of their choices, and we are looking for someone excited to bring more people into that understanding faster than anyone expects.
