Are you ready for a great job? The Value-Based Programs Analyst 2 supports successful value-based provider relationships with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals. The work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The analyst understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas to include, but not limited to: the Value-Based organization, Enrollment, Product Development, Market Finance, Corporate Finance, Actuarial, Network Contracting, and National Contracting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzes provider financial patterns and trends utilizing Excel and/or SQL.
  • Updates, maintains, and reviews fee scheduling and pricing structures.
  • Thoroughly reviews provider contracts and ensures rates are priced and applied accurately.
  • Identifies process recommendations and ensures compliance with government regulations.
  • Collaborates and communicates with internal partners of all professional levels within various departments.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience with data analysis.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, basic formatting, etc.).
  • Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer experiences in a professional environment.
  • Proven experience in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels in the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience within the Humana Service Fund Department.
  • Experience with contracts.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • SQL knowledge and experience in writing SQL queries.
  • Experience with project management.

Additional Information

  • Hours: EST hours, 40 hours per week.
  • Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
  • Pay Range: $59,300 - $80,900 per year. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.

Work-At-Home Requirements

To ensure effectiveness, associates must have self-provided internet with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps. A dedicated, interruption-free workspace is required to protect PHI/HIPAA information.
