Humani HR is a primarily remote-first organization; however, HR Business Partners and Generalists are expected to attend client visits periodically (typically up to 15% of the time, but could be more frequent), as well as company events. We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong business acumen and executive presence, who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment. You'll partner with a portfolio of clients to provide strategic guidance and hands-on HR support across employee relations, compliance, compensation, HR programs, and more.

What you'll do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, including C-Suite executives with confidence and executive presence.
  • Lead HR initiatives from strategy through execution addressing a wide range of HR and organizational needs including policy development, organizational compliance, compensation analysis, HRIS implementation, audits, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, benefit administration & payroll processing and oversight.
  • Manage multiple client accounts with tailored, high-impact solutions.
  • Build strong, lasting client relationships that drive Humani's continued success.

What you bring

  • 7+ years of progressive, client-facing HR experience (a degree in HR and/or professional HR designation is highly desired).
  • Excellent knowledge of U.S. employment law across multiple states (NY & CA preferred).
  • Strong experience in managing and overseeing payroll operations/and or Union experience is strongly preferred.
  • Robust business acumen with proven ability to translate business needs into actionable HR objectives.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving and needs analysis skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
