  • Ability to challenge legacy/PeopleSoft style customization and enforce Oracle best practices
  • Strong cross-module reasoning and clear stakeholder communication

Project Details and Scope

  • Configure HCM Cloud (structures, workflows, security)
  • Troubleshoot post-go-live issues; validate data after fixes/patches
  • Review quarterly releases; assess impacts
  • Understand enterprise data flows; support extracts/reporting
  • Guide HR/Payroll toward standardized Oracle Cloud processes

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation, Security)
  • Build and manage:
    • Job & position structures
    • Work relationships & legal entities
    • Eligibility rules
    • Workflows and approvals
    • Security roles
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues and support HR/Payroll users
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and system optimization
  • Review Oracle quarterly releases and assess system impact
  • Work with business stakeholders to align processes with Oracle Cloud best practices (avoid customizations)
  • Support data validation and integration awareness (HCM Extracts, reporting tools)

Nice to Have

  • PeopleSoft background (migration or coexistence)
  • Experience in large enterprise environments
  • Exposure to healthcare, higher education, or regulated industries
  • Experience working with legacy systems alongside Oracle HCM
