About Us

Healthcare today is nothing short of amazing. Yet all of it only works when people connect with it. And too often, they don't. Healthcare can be impersonal. Confusing. All elbows. The record scratch at life's party. We're here to help connect healthcare with the people who need it. Which is everyone. How? By listening. Collaborating. And inspiring.

Icario is the leading health action company that deeply understands people, giving our clients the data and tools they need to reach further, overcome barriers, personalize outreach, and connect with people like they're human. Using whole person data, behavioral science, and digital-first omnichannel pathways, we build long-term value for our customers by helping them put people first and deliver better outcomes faster.

About the Role

Icario is looking for a Product Manager, Data & Analytics to help drive the evolution of our next-generation engagement platform. This role will focus primarily on the data, analytics, reporting, and intelligence capabilities that enable Icario to understand member engagement, measure program performance, support client outcomes, and unlock future AI-driven product opportunities.

This is a traditional product management role with a strong technical orientation. You will work closely with Engineering, Data, Analytics, Product Operations, Client Success, Operations, and business stakeholders to identify needs, define requirements, prioritize work, and drive execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own product discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, and delivery for data, analytics, reporting, and intelligence capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Architecture teams to define buildable requirements.
  • Translate business, operational, client, and user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
  • Prioritize product work based on business value, client impact, platform scalability, data quality, and technical feasibility.
  • Support the evolution of Icario's platform by defining capabilities that improve data visibility, reporting accuracy, and analytics usability.
  • Manage a product backlog using Jira and Confluence, ensuring work is clear, prioritized, and aligned to roadmap objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the early evolution of AI-enabled capabilities by defining use cases, data needs, and product requirements.
  • Define product success metrics and evaluate adoption, usage, and business impact.

What You'll Own

  • Requirements definition for data, analytics, reporting, and intelligence capabilities.
  • Jira epics, stories, acceptance criteria, backlog hygiene, and delivery visibility.
  • Confluence documentation for product requirements, decisions, and workflows.
  • Cross-functional product discovery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Product delivery partnership with Engineering and Data teams.
  • AI use case exploration and early product requirement definition.

What You'll Partner On

  • Data model, data pipeline, integration, and reporting dependencies.
  • Analytics strategy and measurement frameworks.
  • AI strategy, governance, and implementation feasibility.
  • Operational readiness and supportability.
  • Client-facing reporting needs and business outcome measurement.
  • Platform roadmap planning and prioritization.

What We'll Love About You

  • 4-7 years of professional experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Data Product Manager, or related role.
  • Experience working with data, analytics, reporting, or technical product capabilities.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
  • Strong fluency with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience partnering directly with Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics, and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts such as data flows, integrations, APIs, and platform dependencies.
  • Strong prioritization skills and experience managing a product backlog.
  • Healthcare, health plan, or regulated B2B SaaS experience preferred.
  • Experience with AI, machine learning, or predictive analytics is a plus.

Preferred Technical Exposure

  • Data platforms (data warehouses, lakehouses, data marts).
  • BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Data quality, governance, and lineage.
  • APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines.
  • AI/ML concepts (predictive models, personalization, NLP, generative AI).
  • Privacy, security, PHI, HIPAA, or regulated healthcare data environments.

What We'll Love About You

  • 4 weeks PTO, Summer PTO, and unlimited Health & Wellness PTO.
  • Competitive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, disability, FSA, HSA, pet insurance).
  • Generous 401k program with company match.
  • Company paid parental leave.
  • Work-life harmony.
  • $1,000 employee referral bonus program.
  • Fully remote & hybrid working models.
