Lead Substation Protection & Control Engineer
Location: Remote US
ICF is seeking a Lead Substation P&C Engineer to design relay and protection and control projects for high voltage substations (12kV to 500kV).

What You Will Be Doing:
Responsibilities include the design and preparation of:
- Protective Schemes
- Substation Relay One Lines and Three Lines
- AC/DC Schematics
- Substation Panel Layouts
- Substation Wiring Diagrams and Cable Schedules
- SCADA and Communication Diagrams
- DC Systems Calculations
- AC Systems Calculations
Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing equipment specifications and selection based on client criteria.
- Developing Bills of Materials based on design criteria.
- Coordinating with physical, settings, and drafting disciplines.
- Participating in client meetings and performing site visits.
- Interpreting and incorporating vendor information.
- Applying client standards.
- Providing field support during construction.
- Performing Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
- Continuously improving engineering knowledge and skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering (preferably electrical or computer engineering)
- 5 years of protection and controls experience
- 5 years of experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
Preferred Skills:
- Engineering in Training (EIT) license
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of industry standards (NEC, NESC, IEEE, ANSI)
- Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles for technical plans and drawings.

Pay Range: $98,614.00 - $202,850.00 annually
