IT Security Analyst

IDR is seeking an IT Security Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is integral to ensuring the security and compliance of information systems within a leading organization in the healthcare industry. The analyst will focus on monitoring, assessing, and improving security measures, as well as responding to cybersecurity incidents.

Position Overview

• Responsible for ensuring technical controls meet information security policy requirements.
• Conducts security policy education, training, and awareness activities.
• Monitors compliance with information security policies and applicable laws.
• Coordinates investigations and reporting of security incidents.
• Performs vulnerability assessments and creates actionable recommendations based on risk reviews or audit findings.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in an IT role with 3 years of IT Security Experience.
• Experience with Anti-malware, EDR/XDR, and similar platforms.
• Skilled in threat hunting and cyber investigations.
• Experience with endpoint and network security monitoring.
• Solid skills with Windows and Linux operating systems.
