IMPACT Group is a certified woman-owned career coaching firm based in St. Louis, MO, focusing on relocation, outplacement, and leadership development. We empower people to navigate career transitions through one-on-one coaching, innovative technology, and personalized programs.

Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time/casual Career & Integration Coach based in the Bay Area/San Francisco, CA (remote) to support our relocation and outplacement solutions. You will work 1:1 with employees and their families as they relocate or seek new career opportunities.

This is a remote, part-time position. While hours are not guaranteed, they will start at approximately 5 hours per week and gradually increase to around 20 hours. The hourly rate in CA is $45/hour or more, based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish rapport and motivate participants to achieve professional and personal goals.
  • Guide participants through the coaching process and milestone completion.
  • Advise on career development, integration, and transition issues.
  • Coach on résumé writing, marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiating.
  • Maintain internal service delivery records.
  • Monitor participant progress and address challenges related to job searches or local integration.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience in job search strategy/career coaching.
  • Experience coaching individuals, including expats/accompanying spouses, in job search and integration.
  • Currently resides in the Bay Area with knowledge of the local job market.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish. (Fluency in Portuguese is an added advantage).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with virtual coaching and technology (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.).
  • Ability to work up to 20 hours/week.
  • High-speed internet and a dedicated home office setup.

  • Expat or repat experience.
  • Strong cross-cultural competence.
  • Demonstrated expertise in facilitation and business coaching.
  • Master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Coaching certificate or training.
