IMPACT Group is a certified woman-owned career coaching firm based in St. Louis, MO, specializing in relocation, outplacement, and leadership development. We empower individuals to navigate career transitions successfully through one-on-one coaching and innovative technology.

Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time, casual Career Coach based in Seattle, WA, to support our relocation and outplacement solutions. This is a remote position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week (no guaranteed hours).

The hourly rate for this role in WA is $35-$42/hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include potential 401k eligibility and part-time paid sick leave per state law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish rapport and motivate employees to achieve their goals.
  • Guide employees through the coaching process and milestone completion.
  • Advise on career development, transition issues, and career options.
  • Coach on résumé writing, marketing techniques, LinkedIn optimization, personal branding, interview preparation, and negotiating.
  • Maintain electronic service delivery records according to internal guidelines.
  • Monitor progress and consult on improving job search skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience in delivering job search strategy/career coaching to individuals across various industries and levels.
  • Expertise in resume development, interview preparation, career exploration, and LinkedIn/social media optimization.
  • Must currently reside in the Seattle, WA vicinity with knowledge of the local job market.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with virtual coaching.
  • Tech-savvy with AI knowledge.
  • Must have a high-speed internet connection, personal computer, and a headset with a microphone.
  • Experience navigating VISA challenges and career continuation scenarios is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

  • Master's degree in a discipline involving the study of human behavior, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Coaching certification or training is highly regarded.
  • Personal experience relocating to a different city or country.
