Location: This position can be based in our Newton, Massachusetts, or Washington D.C. offices.

About the Role

The Account Manager, Portfolio position is part of the Global Portfolio Sales team at Informa TechTarget. This role is responsible for managing high-value accounts that contribute significantly to the company's revenue. The team oversees various product lines and is crucial for driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Collaboration: Work within a team focused on high-value accounts, collaborating with a Strategy Director and other Account Managers and Specialists.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by expanding the company's footprint within assigned accounts through upselling at the product level and cross-selling into new lines of business.
  • Prospecting: Actively prospect into assigned accounts to achieve multithreading, upselling, and cross-selling goals. Expand business within current accounts and penetrate new areas to increase market presence and enhance customer relationships.
  • Account Management: Manage existing business, ensuring successful renewals and client satisfaction while driving additional revenue. Deliver on deals sold individually, by the Strategy Director, or collaboratively by the team.
  • Dual Focus: Achieve revenue targets through renewals and execute strategies to convert new business opportunities into revenue.

Qualifications

Experience

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with B2B technology marketing platforms, including:

  • Leveraging account and prospect-level intent data for marketing campaigns and sales enablement.
  • Creating and managing webinar content for professional communities.
  • Implementing targeted advertising campaigns for B2B tech buyers.
  • Developing or managing customized online environments for user engagement.
  • Participating in or organizing online summits with industry experts.
  • Developing high-performance marketing assets for B2B technology audiences.

Industry Knowledge

In-depth knowledge of multiple technology sectors is required, such as:

  • Cybersecurity
  • Cloud and IT Infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B technology marketing.
  • Proven success using intent data to drive marketing and sales outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B technology buyer journey.
  • Experience across multiple technology verticals.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audience segments.
  • Track record of successful campaign execution using marketing technology platforms.
