Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Capital Strategy Associates.

This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere's certification and verification process.

Once Approved, Capital Strategy Associates

• Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
• Gain access to live deal flow and paid strategic analysis work
• Support investors, fund managers, and operators by providing capital allocation insights, portfolio optimization recommendations, and strategic deal guidance
• Build a verified track record of strategic and capital advisory work along with an Analyst Rating Score

Certification Tiers

Senior Analyst

• Rating Score: 90--100
• Pay: $150--200/hour
• Typical Background: Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategic consulting, or portfolio management with 5+ years of experience in deal strategy and capital planning

Lead Analyst

• Rating Score: 80--89
• Pay: $100--150/hour
• Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3--5 years of experience in investment strategy, deal execution, or portfolio advisory

Analyst / Associate

• Rating Score: 60--79
• Pay: $50--100/hour
• Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical, modeling, and strategic evaluation skills

What You'll Do (Approval-Based)

Capital Strategy Associates are engaged based on category-specific approvals, earned through assessment and performance.

Strategic Capital & Deal Analysis

• Evaluate investment opportunities for alignment with fund and portfolio strategies
• Model and analyze capital allocation scenarios, ROI, and risk-adjusted returns
• Conduct market, sector, and competitive analysis to support strategic recommendations
• Prepare dashboards, executive summaries, and presentations for investors and fund managers

Portfolio & Risk Optimization

• Monitor portfolio companies and investments for strategic fit and performance metrics
• Recommend initiatives for capital efficiency, growth strategies, and risk mitigation
• Support investment memos, due diligence, and operational review processes

Analysts may only perform work in categories for which they are approved.

How Analysts Start Earning

• Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
• Receive category-specific approvals (Modeling, Valuation, Capital Strategy, Portfolio Analysis)
• Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform
• Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live deal work

No cold applications. No unpaid "experience." Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors, fund managers, and deal sponsors.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

• Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
• Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each analyst receives a 0--100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

• Platform visibility and access to deals and portfolios
• Approved work categories
• Recommended hourly rates

Scores are updated based on accuracy, thoroughness, and feedback from investors and fund managers.

Compensation & Deal Terms

• Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
• Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
• Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
• Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
• Payments issued only after successful completion of approved work
• Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues
