Digital Experience Manager (DxM)

Industry: Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid -- 2 days onsite) OR Fully Remote (EST hours required)

Schedule: 40 hours/week (no overtime)

Duration: 12-month rolling contract (2--3 year long-term project)

Pay Rate: $55--$65/hour (based on experience)

Overview

A leading global pharmaceutical organization is building out its internal omnichannel activation team and is seeking a Digital Experience Manager (DxM) to support campaign execution across key brand portfolios. This role plays a critical function in translating brand strategy into execution across digital channels---primarily email-driven campaigns.

The DxM will serve as the bridge between brand marketing, technical delivery teams, analytics, and external partners, ensuring seamless campaign execution, strong communication, and high-quality deliverables. This role is heavily focused on operations, documentation, and relationship management within a complex, highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute omnichannel marketing campaigns, with a primary focus on email-based channel strategies
  • Translate brand strategies into actionable campaign plans across marketing and technical teams
  • Manage 10--30 concurrent campaign initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality execution
  • Serve as liaison between brand teams, developers, analytics teams, and external agencies
  • Develop and maintain key documentation including business review documents, campaign playbooks, and production requirements
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize processes and improve campaign delivery
  • Support transition from agency-led to in-house campaign execution models
  • Ensure alignment across teams while managing stakeholder expectations and communication

Required Skills

  • 7--10 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Campaign Operations, or Marketing Operations
  • 3+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Strong experience managing omnichannel campaigns, specifically email-focused strategies
  • Proven ability to document campaign requirements, production workflows, and business review materials
  • Experience translating marketing strategies into executable channel plans
  • Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Workfront, JIRA, Veeva, or Smartsheet
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with third-party vendors or agencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
