Job description

Infrastructure Analyst

Duration: 6-month contract to hire, converting to full-time employment. Must be able to work on W2 without sponsorship.

Conversion Salary: $85k - $100k, depending on experience.

Location: Wichita HQ

Onsite Schedule: 5 days a week onsite during the contract period. Post-conversion, the schedule will be 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments (not desktop-focused).
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including:
    • TCP/IP
    • OSPF
    • BGP
    • VPNs
    • Network segmentation
  • Experience with incident response / incident management.
  • Understanding of network security principles (access control, troubleshooting connectivity issues).
  • Exposure to Cisco networking equipment.
  • Experience working with monitoring tools (PRTG).
  • Experience supporting multi-domain environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Plusses:

  • Experience supporting highly complex or segmented networks (20+ domains).
  • Experience managing or supporting cloud connectivity.
  • AWS exposure.
  • Hyper-V experience.
  • Exposure to patching tools such as:
    • Tanium
    • Automox
    • WSUS

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

This role focuses on network operations, incident response, and enterprise connectivity support within a large, multi-domain environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to network-related alerts from PRTG.
  • Participating in incident response and troubleshooting for connectivity, access control, and security-related issues.
  • Supporting network segmentation and enterprise routing concepts.
  • Collaborating with a dedicated networking team.
  • Supporting hybrid and cloud connectivity.
  • Communicating effectively across teams using ServiceNow.
  • Participating in 2-week system and patching rotations to support overall infrastructure stability.

Note: There is an on-call rotation once every 7 weeks.
