Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Knowledge of:
    • Pharmacy benefits (PBM)
    • Medicare / Medicaid / Commercial plans
  • Experience supporting RFPs or large enterprise clients
  • Exposure to pricing methodologies and self-funded arrangements

Key Responsibilities

One of our large healthcare customers is hiring for 2 Analysts to join their team. They will join a team responsible for state government benefits. These are fully remote, permanent opportunities. Some day-to-day responsibilities include:

Risk Assessment & Financial Analysis

  • Analyze client populations, claims data, and utilization trends to evaluate financial risk
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cost, pricing, and contract structure

Pricing & Deal Development

  • Build and deliver pricing for new business proposals
  • Develop competitive, profitable financial offers for clients

Quote & Proposal Creation

  • Prepare detailed quotes, projections, and underwriting recommendations
  • Support RFP responses and pricing strategy for large employer or government plan deals

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with:
    • Sales teams (to win business)
    • Finance (profitability)
    • Claims / operations (trend insights)

Contract & Policy Application

  • Apply underwriting guidelines and pricing methodologies
  • Escalate exceptions or financial variances as needed

Profitability & Portfolio Management

  • Ensure deals meet revenue, margin, and risk targets
  • Monitor performance of existing accounts and adjust pricing strategies

Process Improvement & Analytics

  • Use underwriting tools and data models to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Compensation

$70,000 to $85,000 per year annual salary.
