Job Description
This position provides support of the Epic Tapestry application. Tapestry manages payor operations and managed care workflows. This position is responsible for complex level work supporting information technology application(s) through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and providing ongoing optimization and support.
This position is fully remote; however, some onsite presence may be required.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM PST.
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic Tapestry certification (Required for Principal level)
- Experience in the Tapestry Payor Data Management (PDM) including member enrollment, eligibility, benefits, claims, and provider data.
- Tapestry Core workflow configuration including work queue management, letters, and notification events.
- Tapestry Link experience.
Compensation
- Application Analyst Principal Pay Range: $54.12 -- $85.20 per hour (USD)
- Standard Analyst Range: $39.57 - $62.29 per hour (USD)
Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
Role Overview
The senior analyst is responsible for providing advanced technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance for various healthcare applications and their technologies throughout their lifecycle. The senior analyst may also manage small and mid-sized projects, mentor other analysts, and contribute to the development of best practices.
Essential Functions
- Documents and recommends workflow changes and technical/functional designs.
- Partners with external vendors to support related third-party applications.
- Solves common and complex issues, incidents, and problems.
- Serves as Project Manager for mid-size projects with multiple teams.
- Performs quality review of team build.
- Collaboratively works with peers, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors.
- Follows documentation and change management standards.
- Participates in development of training and knowledge-based materials.
- Oversees configuration of electronic and mechanical hardware with software products.
- Develops and understands business reporting needs for end users.
- Participates in on-call and command center responsibilities.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive testing plans and scripts.
- Attends and participates in team, project, and department meetings.
- Works with requestors to define project objectives and business case documentation.
- Helps stakeholders complete ROI, benefit plan KPI, and leading/lagging measures.
- Aggregates resource group forecasts to roadmap new projects.
- Aggregates equipment/hardware/data connection forecasts for construction projects.
- Provides Capital Planning with cost of equipment and infrastructure information.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel pivot tables, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Word).
- In-depth business and application knowledge.
- Knowledge of system analysis and operating systems.
- Skilled in assessing needs, problem definition, and data collection.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret industry periodicals and technical procedures.
- Ability to write reports, correspondence, and process documents.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management and control.
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or a related field is required.
- Alternative: Actively working towards a Bachelor's Degree with nine years of professional experience.
- Experience: Four (4) years of work experience, or actively working towards a Bachelor's Degree with six years of experience in related areas.
- Will be required to certify on one or more Epic applications and maintain certification.
Requirements
- Operate computers and other IT equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
- See and read computer monitors and documents.
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work.
