Role Overview

Role: AI Engineer Full Stack Location: Chicago, IL (2-3x onsite required) Duration: 6 Month Contract Interview Process: Phone then video interview

Required Skills & Experience

  • AI Development: Proficiency with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code, Lovable, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience: 4+ years of professional software development, with at least 2 years in full-stack roles.
  • Front-End: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • Back-End: Experience with Node.js, Python, or Go for API development.
  • Data & Cloud: Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and at least one cloud data platform (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
  • DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with GCP, Azure, or AWS (multi-cloud experience preferred).
  • Security: Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 / SSO authentication flows (Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD preferred).
  • Code Quality: Demonstrated ability to read, review, and improve code generated by AI tools.
  • API Design: Strong understanding of RESTful API design, versioning, and documentation.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working in Git-based workflows with branching strategies and pull request reviews.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the Chicago office.
