Sr. Director, Data & Technology‑Enabled Solutions Strategy Lead, MedTech
This senior strategic role is responsible for defining, shaping, and advancing the MedTech data and technology‑enabled solution strategy within the IQVIA Global MedTech business unit. You will operate at the nexus of data assets, technology platforms, analytics, and commercial solutions, ensuring our offerings are market‑relevant, scalable, and aligned with growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Solution & Portfolio Strategy:
- Define and lead the MedTech strategy for data‑ and technology‑enabled solutions, aligning with enterprise priorities, client needs, and market trends.
- Identify market opportunities and unmet client needs, translating them into differentiated solutions.
- Own the vision, roadmap, and investment rationale for assigned solution portfolios.
Product & Offering Leadership:
- Collaborate with Technology, Data, and Analytics teams to ensure solutions are fit‑for‑purpose, secure, scalable, and sustainable.
- Influence prioritization of features, capabilities, and enhancements based on client value and commercial return.
Commercial & Go‑to‑Market Enablement:
- Develop solution positioning, value propositions, and differentiation in partnership with Commercial, GTM, and Marketing teams.
- Lead pricing, packaging, and commercial model development to drive revenue growth and margin integrity.
- Provide senior subject‑matter expertise for complex deals, RFPs, and strategic client engagements.
Cross‑Functional Leadership:
- Act as a strategic liaison across Product, Technology, Data, Analytics, Sales, and Delivery organizations.
- Influence senior stakeholders without direct authority, aligning teams around shared objectives.
- Establish governance, decision frameworks, and success metrics for solution performance.
Market & Performance Management:
- Monitor solution adoption, client outcomes, and financial performance, driving continuous improvement.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, data governance, and quality standards.
Scope & Impact
- Strategic ownership of high‑value data and technology‑enabled solution portfolios.
- Significant influence on revenue growth, client satisfaction, and long‑term platform strategy.
- Operates at a senior leadership level with broad visibility across business units and geographies.
Essential Functions
- P&L and financial target responsibility for the MedTech Information Solutions and Tech enabled Platforms Global segment.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term operating plans and strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate and regional objectives.
- Generate new business through meetings, presentations, and oversight of client proposals.
- Communicate business strategy, major developments, and new initiatives.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Must reside in the country where the job is located.
- US Remote with 10% - 20% travel nationwide expected.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- 10-12+ years of experience in data, technology, analytics, product, or solution strategy, including leadership of complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of the MedTech industry required.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling data‑ or technology‑enabled offerings in a B2B or consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of the MedTech Segment, including solution and product strategy leadership.
- Deep understanding of data, technology platforms, and analytics‑enabled solutions.
- Commercial acumen (pricing, packaging, GTM, deal support).
- Executive‑level stakeholder management and influence.
- Structured problem-solving and strategic storytelling with excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to translate client needs into scalable, repeatable offerings.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, CRM, and Financial systems.
- Strong commercial marketing, general management, and financial skills.
- Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in highly matrixed organizations, with excellent management, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and operational skills.

Compensation: The potential base pay range for this role is $169,700.00 - $472,700.00 annually. Actual base pay may vary based on qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other compensation may be offered, along with a range of health and welfare benefits.
