James Search Group is partnering with a leading Property & Casualty Insurance carrier to hire a Technical Lead -- Services Technology. This is a hands-on Salesforce leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing development, DevOps, and production support while driving system performance and reliability.
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a critical Salesforce environment, shaping best practices, improving system health, and ensuring scalable, secure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on Salesforce development including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
- Review code and enforce best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
- Own and manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release processes.
- Drive the roadmap for system performance, scalability, and overall platform health.
- Support production operations, troubleshoot issues, and partner with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address risks, vulnerabilities, and technical debt.
- Evaluate Salesforce platform updates and assess impact across the environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes and automation workflows.
What We're Looking For
- 5--8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components.
- Experience with integrations and middleware in cloud-based environments.
- Proven track record supporting production environments and resolving complex issues.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Flosum).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, security models, and design patterns.
- Experience working with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud (Service Cloud preferred).
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer I/II) strongly preferred.
