About the Role

This firm is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join its cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have 0-4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or security operations. This role provides the opportunity to work on real-time threat monitoring, incident response, and security investigations while developing skills in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats
• Investigate suspicious activity and security incidents, escalating as needed
• Assist in incident response, forensic analysis, and threat intelligence reporting
• Maintain and optimize security tools, including SIEM platforms and endpoint protection solutions
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enhance security policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• 0-4 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or IT security roles
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, malware analysis, and network security
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.)
• Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC) are a plus
