This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Federal System Integrator Account Manager based in the United States.
This is a senior strategic sales role focused on driving growth across federal system integrator and defense contractor accounts. You will be responsible for building and expanding long-term relationships within complex, highly regulated government ecosystems. The role combines consultative enterprise selling with deep networking and infrastructure solution expertise, particularly across federal programs and contractor environments. You will identify new business opportunities, develop account strategies, and manage large-scale deals spanning hardware, software, and services. Working closely with partners and internal specialists, you will navigate multi-stakeholder environments to increase win rates and accelerate revenue growth. This position requires strong commercial acumen, federal market understanding, and the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
Accountabilities
- Develop and own strategic account plans for federal system integrator and defense contractor accounts
- Identify, pursue, and close large-scale opportunities across hardware, software, and services portfolios
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with customer stakeholders, including executive decision-makers
- Drive pipeline development through structured account planning, forecasting, and opportunity management
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to strengthen solution positioning and improve win rates
- Leverage consultative selling to align customer requirements with enterprise networking and technology solutions
- Manage quota attainment and revenue performance across quarterly and annual targets
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to execute complex, multi-party sales engagements
- Monitor competitive activity and adjust account strategies to maximize growth opportunities
- Ensure accurate pipeline tracking, reporting, and disciplined sales execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- 5-8 years of enterprise account management or solution sales experience
- Proven experience working with Federal System Integrators, defense contractors, or government-related customers
- Background in selling into federal programs or highly regulated environments strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, and L2/L3 concepts
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting to close
- Experience engaging senior and executive-level stakeholders with strong consultative selling skills
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Active Top Secret clearance preferred (where applicable)
