This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Administrator based in United States.

This role is a key technical and strategic position responsible for shaping and managing a complex Salesforce ecosystem that supports multiple organizational functions, including development, communications, programs, finance, and operations. You will act as the central owner of CRM platforms, ensuring they are optimized, well-integrated, and aligned with organizational goals. The role blends hands-on Salesforce administration with system architecture, integration oversight, and cross-functional leadership. You will work closely with stakeholders across departments to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. The environment is highly collaborative, mission-driven, and focused on continuous improvement of data quality, processes, and user experience. This position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide CRM strategy and drive meaningful operational impact.

Accountabilities

Lead the end-to-end management, optimization, and evolution of the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring it supports organizational strategy and operational excellence.

  • Own Salesforce CRM strategy, roadmap development, and platform governance in alignment with business priorities and stakeholder needs.
  • Serve as senior technical lead across Salesforce and connected platforms, including Marketing Cloud, Tableau, FormAssembly, and other integrated tools.
  • Manage full lifecycle delivery of Salesforce enhancements, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and adoption support.
  • Oversee platform performance, including releases, security, storage management, licensing, and system reliability.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data models to support analytics across fundraising, programs, and operations.
  • Lead integration strategy and execution across APIs, Marketing Cloud, Workday tools, and other enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues while ensuring data integrity and high-quality documentation.
  • Drive adoption, data hygiene, process optimization, and CRM best practices across teams.
  • Act as a key liaison between IT, business units, and external vendors, managing relationships and ensuring delivery quality.
  • Mentor users and facilitate training, workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Candidates should bring strong Salesforce expertise combined with experience in CRM strategy, integrations, and cross-functional technical leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience in complex environments.
  • Proven ability to own CRM strategy, drive adoption, and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, reporting, and data management.
  • Experience with enterprise system integrations, including APIs and connected platforms such as Marketing Cloud and Workday.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Apex, SOQL, MySQL, Azure Blob, SFTP tools, and scripting languages.
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, and external technical partners.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required; Advanced Administrator, App Builder, or Consultant certifications preferred.
  • Experience in nonprofit or global mission-driven organizations is a plus.
