This is a high-impact product leadership role focused on defining how enterprise organizations govern and secure database changes across modern software delivery ecosystems. You will shape the strategy for integrations, compliance frameworks, and policy-driven controls that ensure every database change is auditable, safe, and aligned with enterprise standards. The role sits at the intersection of DevOps, security, and data platform engineering, driving capabilities that support both human-driven and AI-assisted development workflows. You will work closely with engineering, security, and enterprise customers to translate complex governance needs into scalable product solutions. This is a strategic and hands-on position where execution discipline and customer empathy are equally critical. Your work will directly influence how large organizations manage risk, compliance, and operational integrity at scale.
Accountabilities
You will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for database change governance, ecosystem integrations, and compliance capabilities. You will translate enterprise needs into clear product requirements, ensuring delivery of secure, scalable, and auditable solutions across complex environments.
- Define and lead the roadmap for database change governance workflows, policy enforcement, and risk-based controls across environments and deployment pipelines
- Drive strategy and execution for ecosystem integrations across CI/CD tools, source control systems, ITSM platforms, security tools, observability stacks, and cloud/data platforms
- Own policy content, compliance frameworks, and governance rule systems aligned with standards such as SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, and internal enterprise controls
- Collaborate with engineering, design, security, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-quality product capabilities from concept to launch
- Engage directly with enterprise customers and stakeholders to identify pain points and translate them into scalable product solutions
- Define KPIs and success metrics related to adoption, compliance coverage, integration usage, and governance effectiveness
- Support positioning, product messaging, and enablement efforts in partnership with cross-functional teams
Requirements
This role requires a seasoned product manager with deep experience in enterprise software, DevOps ecosystems, and technically complex environments. You should be comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels while engaging confidently with technical and executive stakeholders.
- 6 years of product management experience delivering enterprise software products from discovery through launch and iteration
- Strong experience working with DevOps, CI/CD, platform engineering, infrastructure, or data platform products
- Proven ability to translate complex security, compliance, and technical requirements into structured product capabilities
- Deep understanding of enterprise environments, particularly within regulated industries or Fortune 500 organizations
- Experience building or managing ecosystem integrations, APIs, or platform-based product capabilities
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with strong execution discipline and ownership mindset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence engineering teams, executives, and enterprise customers
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance product discovery, research, or execution workflows is a plus
- Familiarity with ITSM, SIEM, observability, or database change management tools is strongly preferred
