Role Overview

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Manager, Product Management in the United States.

This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and driving the vision and roadmap of a large-scale eCommerce shopping platform. You will work closely with business leaders, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners to translate strategic objectives into high-impact product initiatives. The role combines product strategy, execution oversight, and team leadership in a fast-paced digital environment.

You will own roadmap prioritization, backlog management, and delivery coordination while ensuring alignment with key business KPIs. A strong focus will be placed on customer experience, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making. In addition, you will play a key role in identifying and shaping AI-driven product opportunities. This is a highly collaborative position where you will also manage and mentor a team of product managers to execute against the broader vision.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will define and manage the product roadmap for a customer-facing eCommerce platform while ensuring alignment with business strategy and performance goals. You will collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable product plans, oversee sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and ensure smooth delivery execution across teams.

  • Own the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and prioritization for the shopping platform
  • Gather and translate business and user requirements into detailed product stories for engineering teams
  • Manage sprint planning, capacity planning, backlog grooming, and cross-team execution
  • Define KPIs and success metrics to measure product performance and customer impact
  • Lead A/B testing strategies and leverage analytics to guide product decisions
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements, operational efficiencies, and AI-driven innovation
  • Manage and mentor a team of product managers while ensuring alignment across initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional partners to resolve blockers and ensure timely delivery

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings extensive product leadership experience in eCommerce or digital platforms, with a strong ability to bridge business strategy and technical execution. You are highly analytical, experienced in Agile environments, and comfortable leading teams while managing complex product ecosystems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive product management experience in digital or software environments
  • Experience in full software development lifecycle and web application development
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies (including Scrum and SAFe)
  • Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience in eCommerce platforms, payment systems, and promotional tooling
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in web analytics, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making
  • Experience managing and developing product management teams
  • Ability to analyze end-to-end customer journeys and optimize digital funnels
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
