This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Telehealth Practice Manager based in the United States.

As a Telehealth Practice Manager, you will lead the operational strategy and day-to-day management of a rapidly growing virtual healthcare organization. This high-impact leadership role combines operational excellence, business growth, technology optimization, and financial performance management to support scalable and sustainable expansion.

You will work closely with executive and clinical leaders to build processes, systems, and teams capable of delivering exceptional patient and provider experiences at scale. The position offers the opportunity to shape operational infrastructure from the ground up, drive strategic initiatives, and contribute directly to revenue growth and profitability.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and optimize all operational functions across the telehealth organization, ensuring efficient workflows, scalability, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Design and implement operational infrastructure, policies, procedures, and best practices that support long-term growth and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop, monitor, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and operational reporting frameworks to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, profitability, and patient satisfaction.
  • Partner with executive leadership to execute growth strategies, support market expansion initiatives, and launch new services and programs.
  • Build scalable operational frameworks capable of supporting significant increases in patient volume, provider capacity, and business complexity.
  • Oversee daily telehealth practice operations, ensuring seamless patient care delivery and optimal provider performance.
  • Manage provider onboarding, credentialing, scheduling, workforce planning, and performance management processes.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize telehealth technologies, EHR platforms, CRM systems, and other operational tools.
  • Lead technology integration projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve workflow efficiency and patient engagement.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, forecasting processes, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance metrics to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and margin improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, telehealth requirements, HIPAA standards, payer guidelines, and quality assurance programs.
  • Establish risk management, audit, and compliance monitoring processes to maintain operational excellence and regulatory readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience within telehealth, virtual care, or digital health environments.
  • Demonstrated success building, scaling, and optimizing telehealth operations during periods of rapid growth.
  • Proven ability to create operational infrastructure, workflows, standard operating procedures, and scalable business processes from the ground up.
  • Strong knowledge of telehealth regulations, healthcare compliance requirements, credentialing processes, payer models, and provider operations.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Advanced analytical, operational, and financial management skills, including experience managing budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare technology ecosystems, including telehealth platforms, EHR systems, CRM tools, and workflow automation solutions.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, organizational, and change management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Experience supporting significant organizational growth, operational scaling, and profitability improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related discipline) is preferred.
  • Experience with multi-state telehealth operations, venture-backed healthcare organizations, or high-growth healthcare startups is considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with value-based care models, digital health innovation, and virtual care delivery is preferred.
