We are hiring a plaintiffs-side attorney to join our growing legal team in a permanent, full-time role with the flexibility to work remotely anywhere in California. This position offers a competitive salary range of $155,000 to $250,000 per year and the opportunity to work on meaningful cases in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Requirements

Must have:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active and valid license to practice law in California.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a plaintiffs-side Labor and Employment Attorney.
  • Proven history of successfully handling labor and employment litigation.
  • Strong negotiation and dispute-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and persuasive legal writing.
  • Solid command of California and federal labor and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and software that support remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Represent plaintiffs in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
  • Evaluate potential cases carefully to assess claim strength and viability.
  • Draft and prepare legal filings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement documents.
  • Negotiate settlements that protect and advance our clients' interests.
  • Advise clients on their rights and responsibilities under state and federal employment laws.
  • Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes affecting labor and employment practice.
  • Collaborate with our legal team to develop effective case strategies and litigation tactics.
  • Appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
