Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and driven Litigation Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation.
Responsibilities
As a Litigation Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
- Representing clients in civil defense litigation (insurance defense) cases, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the litigation process.
- Conducting comprehensive and effective depositions, ensuring that all pertinent information is accurately gathered and recorded.
- Drafting, reviewing, and revising various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to aid in case preparation and strategy development.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients, striving for the most favorable outcome possible.
- Collaborating with other members of the legal team to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current laws and regulations related to civil defense litigation.
- Providing exceptional client service, maintaining open lines of communication, and keeping clients informed of case progress and outcomes.
Qualifications
To be considered for the role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Must be a member in good standing with the CA bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation defense.
- Proven experience conducting depositions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving favorable settlements.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Strong commitment to client service, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
