Job Details

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional for a permanent position within our fast-growing construction company. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Use industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement risk management processes and identify potential risks and obstacles, providing solutions or contingency plans.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, including experience with large-scale project management and team supervision.
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in construction and project management.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project Management software (Primavera or similar) and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making and team management abilities.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
