Job Details
We are seeking a professional to lead our team. Successful candidates will have experience leading industrial design/build projects, team leadership, and project management. As the Technical Leader, you will represent the firm in client meetings, supervise projects from concept through completion, serve as the technical lead delegating work and mentoring staff, and provide design review and QA/QC. We are seeking candidates with an engineering consulting firm background performing conceptual design of industrial, chemical, and process/piping systems and facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (ABET Accredited).
- Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- 10+ years of civil/structural design/build experience in power plants, chemicals, or manufacturing facilities.
- Engineer of Record (EOR) able to provide professional seal for governmental permitting procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of building codes related to civil/structural design.
- Experience acting as a project manager on civil/structural-based projects.
- Ability to obtain data from field observations, including working at heights via ladder or personnel lifts as required.
- Proven capability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, STAAD, STAAD Foundation, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD. Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Tekla Tedds, Hilti PROFIS, and RAM Elements is helpful but not required.
