Responsibilities

We are seeking a professional to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tax engagements with meaningful client interaction and increasing responsibility.

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns including:
    • Individuals (1040), including high-net-worth clients
    • Partnerships (1065)
    • S-Corporations (1120-S)
    • C-Corporations (1120)
    • Trusts & Estates (1041)
  • Analyze financial data and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Work with multi-entity client structures and K-1 reporting
  • Communicate directly with clients to request information, resolve issues, and follow up on open items
  • Assist in identifying tax planning opportunities
  • Manage multiple engagements and meet filing deadlines
  • Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law updates
  • Review work of junior staff and provide guidance as needed

Qualifications

  • 3 years of public accounting tax experience
  • Strong experience with 1040s and pass-through entities (1065, 1120-S)
  • Exposure to high-net-worth clients
  • Experience with trusts & estates (1041) is a strong plus
  • Generalist background preferred (not highly specialized)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPA license or actively pursuing
  • Experience with CCH Axcess or similar tax software required
