This is a remote position open to candidates in the USA and Canada.
Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts, and they are seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer for Blackstraw LLC. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks
- Work with cloud technologies such as Azure Data Engineering to optimize data storage and processing
- Utilize SAS, SQL, Python, and PySpark for data manipulation and analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions aligned with business needs
- Implement data quality, governance, and best practices
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
Skills
- 8 to 14 years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks
- Proficiency in Azure (Data Engineering ecosystem)
- Programming expertise in SAS, SQL, Python, and PySpark
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools
