KAYGEN is an emerging leader in providing top talent for technology-based staffing services. They are seeking a skilled CI/CD Engineer to design, build, and modernize build and release pipelines for enterprise applications developed in .NET and Java, focusing on Azure DevOps and TFS modernization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for .NET and Java applications
- Evaluate existing TFS/XAML build definitions and lead migration to Azure DevOps YAML or classic pipelines
- Standardize and optimize CI/CD workflows to enhance build stability, deployment speed, and traceability
- Configure and manage build agents, deployment groups, and pipeline integrations across multiple environments
- Support source control, branching strategies, artifact management, automated builds, and release orchestration
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures, deployment issues, and environment-related challenges
- Perform Windows server administration tasks to support pipeline operations and application deployments
- Assist in middleware installation and configuration on build and target servers
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and release teams to ensure efficient software delivery
- Create and maintain documentation including pipeline architecture, migration strategies, and operational runbooks
- Promote CI/CD best practices, security standards, and reusable automation frameworks
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in CI/CD, DevOps, or build/release engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
- Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS), including legacy XAML build configurations
- Experience supporting applications developed in .NET and Java
- Proven experience migrating legacy CI/CD processes to modern platforms such as Azure DevOps
- Basic Windows administration skills (server setup, services, permissions, troubleshooting)
- Experience with middleware installation and configuration in Windows environments
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell or batch scripting
- Strong understanding of software build, packaging, deployment, and environment promotion processes
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
