Accounts Receivable Associate

Location: Nashville, TN

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

Schedule: Monday -- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Some flexibility as needed) (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote following initial training)

Position Overview

Kelly is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Associate to support our finance team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse and complex portfolio of customers across Scandinavia, the Middle East, the Far East, and the U.S. Government. This hybrid role follows onsite training and combines both remote and in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external customers to secure payment on accounts receivable balances.
  • Process payments from customers accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare detailed statements of accounts and respond to customer inquiries via email and phone.
  • Analyze account activity, monitor late payments, and assist with root cause analysis and process improvement recommendations.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end reporting and participate in projects to improve AR processes.
  • Support data organization and reporting with strong basic Excel skills, including downloading/uploading information, sorting, using VLOOKUP, and creating pivot tables.
  • Communicate effectively using Zoom, email, and in-person meetings across different teams and customer types.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant accounts receivable, collections, or finance experience required.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability; intuitive thinker.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international business environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a hybrid work schedule and effectively communicate with global customers and internal teams.
