About the Role
Are you an automotive technician tired of working with wrenches and ready for a career change where you can put all your knowledge to use?
Kelly Services, in partnership with Nissan, is currently seeking an experienced Powertrain Mechanic to work in their Powertrain Call Center, validating and authorizing technician diagnoses.

This is a full-time, hourly, virtual/work-from-home opportunity with an internationally recognized brand, offering growth potential.
- Pay: $24/hour, $25/hour for Master ASE Certified technicians.
- Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 bonus paid after 30 days of employment.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, with availability required between 7 am-7 pm CST. An 8-hour shift will fall within this window.
- Overtime: Occasional Saturdays required, compensated at time and a half.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Protect the Nissan/Infiniti ownership experience by validating technician diagnoses.
- Assist dealership personnel with Nissan/Infiniti policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, chat, etc.
- Must possess strong communication skills and the confidence to stand by your decisions.
- Offer claim support to Nissan and Infiniti dealerships.
- Adjudicate warranty claims for timely and accurate payment.
- Utilize resources such as Technical Service Bulletins, Electronic Service Manuals, and Campaign publications.
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair, including proficiency with technical service manuals and tools.
- Three or more years of "hands-on" automotive repair experience. Dealership experience is a plus.
- ASE Master preferred; must hold A1, A2, and A6 certifications.
- Computer Skills: Ability to work with multiple computer screens and a typing speed of 35 WPM or better.
