Requirements

Must have:

  • Over 7 years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Platform Architect, or Lead Technical Architect role
  • Strong experience in client-facing consulting
  • Proven track record in regulated enterprise environments
  • Practical leadership experience in implementing enterprise GRC platforms such as IBM OpenPages, ServiceNow GRC, Archer, and MetricStream
  • Familiarity with supporting or governing AI, analytics, or model-enabled systems
  • Insight into model lifecycle concepts and governance expectations
  • Deep knowledge of risk and control frameworks
  • Proficiency in workflow and approval design
  • Expertise in audit reporting and evidence management
  • Preferred experience with Watson.gov and/or OpenPages
  • Knowledge in AI governance, model risk management, or responsible AI practices
  • Background in MLOps, ML platform, or data governance
  • Experience in sectors such as financial services, government, healthcare, telecom, or energy

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the GRC Solutions Architect for initiatives related to AI governance and compliance
  • Manage solution architecture from initial requirements through to successful delivery
  • Convert regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Facilitate client architecture workshops involving risk, compliance, data, and technology stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor across governance, AI, and enterprise architecture domains
  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise GRC platforms like OpenPages, ServiceNow GRC/IRM, RSA Archer, and MetricStream
  • Develop and oversee risk and control frameworks, workflows and approvals, issue management, remediation, audit evidence, reporting, and dashboards
  • Ensure GRC solutions align with enterprise risk and compliance operating models
  • Engage in training for architects lacking experience with Watson.gov on OpenPages workflows, OpenScale model monitoring, and AI Factsheets
  • Apply existing GRC expertise to the implementation of Watson.gov
  • Contribute to the development of Watson.gov reference architectures, patterns, and delivery playbooks
  • Collaborate with AI and platform teams to support the governed use of models
  • Assist in model risk management activities including validation, approvals, performance tracking, drift, auditability, and documentation
